Ariel Gail

Prof. Gail S. Goodman is Distinguished Professor of Psychology and director of the Center for Public Policy Research at the University of California Davis. It is believed that she was the one responsible as the pioneer of modern studies of memory recall by eyewitnesses, and children as witnesses. Prof. Goodman has published numerous papers she has received grants from numerous sources and has been awarded numerous national and international prizes. She consults with numerous nations and organizations around the world regarding policies as well as the study of children's victimization within the court system. She works as a Consultant for the Special Assault Forensic Evaluation Center which was previously known as the Multidisciplinary Interview Center - of Sacramento County Child Protective Services. She is a Fellow in the Association for Psychological Science and American Psychological Association, (Divisions Experimental Psychology and Developmental Psychology Society for Child and Family Policy and Practice American Psychology Law Society Psychology of Women and Traumatic Stress 57). Professor. Goodman is a fellow of the Psychonomics Society Society for Research in Child Development American Professional Society on the Abuse of Children and also the International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies. She was the president of 3 divisions (Division Society for Policy and Child Development and Practice Division, American Psychology-Law Society and Division Developmental Psychology) and one section (Child Maltreatment) of the American Psychological Association.
